Muchskills 4.4 - A smarter skills database, more reports, improved certification management
We are super excited to bring you MuchSkills 4.4, featuring new reports, upgrades, and numerous fixes. We're especially thrilled about our major database upgrade, a year-long project that will continue to enhance reporting capabilities in the coming months.
A smarter skills database
Our upgraded skills database, now with over 60,000 AI-enhanced skills and cross-referencing, offers significant improvements:
Unified skill management: Administrators can use the same skill in multiple lists, making it easier for employees to select relevant skills. For example, "Problem Solving" can appear across several lists.
Automatic skill updates: Edits to skills in one list are reflected in all lists. If an employee updates "Problem Solving," it updates everywhere.
Technical skills integration: Employees can choose from over 10,000 technical skills in the Tech Skills category. Administrators can add technical skills to any list, such as programming languages, AWS tools, and software to make it even easier for employees to find technical skills important to the organisation. With this updated skills database, we're planning future updates to provide next-generation skills intelligence.

In February, we launched MuchSkills 4.2, introducing skill validation and badges for employees. Badges recognize training achievements, outstanding accomplishments, and special skills.
The 'validated skills' feature lets managers, experts, or administrators confirm essential skills and proficiency levels within the organization.
New Capabilities:
Validated Skills and Badges Reports: Access via Team/ORG - Overview, toggle between User Added and Manager Validated skills.
Add to Analysis: Include validated skills and badges when defining requirements for roles, competencies, teams, and departments.
Team Builder Integration: Require verified skills and badges for team and project definitions.
Employees can set skill-based goals to enhance their abilities. With this update, goal setting becomes more social. Employees can see others pursuing similar goals and identify organizational experts, promoting collaboration and learning.
Set certification goals Employees can now set goals to achieve certifications, further supporting their professional development.
We aim to help organizations transform into skill-based entities where everyone can visualize their strengths, focus on personal development, and achieve amazing results.
We deeply appreciate the incredible feedback from you and other clients, helping us build the world’s best skills intelligence platform.
